T n T Reviews - Dog Silencer Pro
For the month of November, Fridays will be "T n T Reviews" day here at A Spot of T. T n T representing the oldest T child and myself. We have been talking about doing this for awhile so what better time then now to start.
Most people love products, but Kelsey and I love products. Whether it's cosmetics, fashion, jewelery, wine or something to make the neighbor dog stop barking, we both love all kinds of products.
We often talk about restaurants too. Trust me when I say what Kelsey....and probably most of the people on the planet...look for in a restaurant is very different from what I look for in a restaurant. You will see it's not all about the food for me because I believe a restaurant is so much more then just the food.
Kelsey is 20. I am...older then 20. She says black. I say white. Together we have quite a different view on things. But sometimes, just sometimes, we'll agree on something.
Today is a review from me and let me state right off the bat, I get absolutely nothing for talking about this product. I researched and then paid for it myself because this was the product I thought would be the best for us. I didn't mention the product when I wrote this post because the product hadn't come in yet. And I'm a firm believer in testing a product first before I start talking about it. I wanted to say a resounding yes or no on whether it worked.
The product is from Good Life and it's called the Dog Silencer Pro. I am here to tell you this product works. Oh my word does it work!There are other products on the market but my circumstances were a bit different in that I live on an acreage. I needed something that went above and beyond. I live on 3 acres and the neighbor who has the barking dog lives on 5 acres. You see where I'm going with this? I needed something that would go a long way.
The Dog Silencer Pro detects barking up to three times further than any other
anti-bark device available today. A 75 foot sound sensor range to be exact. It humanely trains dogs to stop barking by emitting a high-pitched sonic and
ultrasonic sounds (which is inaudible to humans) in direct response to every bark.

I am telling you, the minute I hooked this product up the neighbor dog stopped barking. Well ok he barked, then stopped, then barked, then stopped. I could tell he was quite confused. Instead of the continuous hour...or more!!...barking he did, he would come roaring up to the property line where he usually sits and barks and he would bark, but then he would stop. It was incredible! For one thing the little booklet that comes with the product says to be patient because it may not work right away. Apparently someone knew I needed sleep because like I said, it worked the minute I plugged it in.
The Dog Silencer Pro does run on batteries but I decided to run an extension cord out to where I have it. Which is tied onto a tree. It comes with a plastic cover to keep it safe and dry from rain. With it being November we shall soon see how it holds up in the winter.
Now as I've mentioned, we live on an acreage. I knew the Dog Silencer Pro would not stop the dog from barking altogether. But it has done exactly what I had hoped it would do. It has made the dog go further away from our property. Meaning? Instead of the dog sitting at the back of it's property near the trees...which is located very near to our home and practically outside our bedroom window...the dog now sits closer to it's own home. Or on the opposite side of its acreage from where we are. Anywhere but where the Dog Silencer Pro is. Because oh boy, the puppy doesn't like the Dog Silencer Pro.
We now only hear the faint sound of a dog barking. Trust me when I say a German Shepherd barking 3 acres away is one hundred times better then it barking 100 feet from your bedroom window. The owner of the dog is now going through what I was going through. Lots of sleepless nights because of the dog's constant barking right under their window. Except in their case he sits right under their window.
I don't think the owners had a clue as to how loud their dog really was because it wasn't near their home before when it barked non-stop. Well now they know and I have been outside with Mushu late at night and have heard many times the shouts of "SHUT UP!!" ringing through the cool crisp air. Both from the owners and the neighbors on the other side of them. Because of course the dog now goes to that side of their acreage to bark. And away from us. Oh life is so good sometimes. And no. No I will not be telling the neighbors about this product. Because they have been nasty to me in the past and god doesn't hit with a stick so they are now getting their come-uppins. What? Don't judge me.
So there you have it. A resounding yes on the Dog Silencer Pro. As for price? You can decide for yourself what you want to pay for a bit of sanity. My sanity says this product was worth every. single. penny.
